The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Names PTS Recipient of 2009 Excellence Award for Customer Service
Conshohocken, PA, USA, November 7, 2008 – The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce has awarded Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS), Inc. its 2009 Excellence Award for Customer Service. The most esteemed honor bestowed on small businesses in the Greater Philadelphia region, the Excellence Awards were presented last night at the Chamber's Annual Small Business Excellence Awards dinner at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing, with more than 450 in attendance.
"The awards honor the small business community's entrepreneurial spirit, diversity, innovation and perseverance,” said Mark Schweiker, President & CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. "These recipients embody the promise of our region and their successful enterprises help make this an attractive place to do business."
This year marks the 26th Anniversary of the prestigious Excellence Awards, which acknowledge the accomplishments of small businesses and the contributions they make to Philadelphia's regional economy. Small business leaders are nominated by their regional business peers based on their demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the business community.
"We're certainly honored to accept this award from the Chamber," said PTS Managing Partner Pamela Hackett. "We’re thrilled that our peers in the business community recognize our emphasis on customer service…especially given that our ultimate customer is the special needs child in the classroom that we serve each and every day."
TD Bank sponsored the Customer Service Excellence Award presented to PTS.

Nominated by their peers throughout the 11-county region, awards were presented in 10 categories.
Individuals were honored in two categories:

- Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Tina Wells, Buzz Marketing Group
