Home      About Us

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) delivers uniquely integrated therapy staffing and related services program support to schools and early intervention programs. We combine clinical skills with top-level case management capabilities, standard-setting analytics technology, and best practices refined through years in both the classroom and the boardroom.

Who Is PTS?

Diana Fongheiser and Pam Hackett, MPT, founded PTS in 1998 on the basis that only a global approach will yield truly dynamic therapeutic services for children. Since then, PTS has continuously led the related services field in exciting new directions that maximize therapy resources and the positive difference they make for students.

Both Pam and Diana have previously managed supplemental therapy staffing companies and have experience in both the classroom and the boardroom that they bring to their work with PTS.

Our Mission

What We Do

We consider ourselves the helpers of the helpers. We provide schools and early intervention programs with innovative, experienced therapeutic services while removing the routine administrative and supervisory burden of related services oversight. This establishes more time for school administrators to focus on their higher-level priorities while we manage the day-to-day operations of the related services team.

    Physical Therapy

Helps students with physical and motor skills disabilities feel comfortable and supported in their physical environment, so they can learn and socialize at a relatively comparable pace to their peers. This can include activities like balancing in a classroom chair, moving from class to class, and participating in gym class.

    Social Work

Aims to help students function, learn, and succeed scholastically and socially by assessing students’ biopsychosocial well-being, making home visits as needed, and providing case management services. PTS’s school-based social workers can also assist in facilitating student and family access to financial and healthcare assistance programs, staging crisis interventions, and delivering direct support and therapy to students.

    Speech-Language Pathology

Also helps students improve literacy and learning capabilities that affect their ability to understand course materials, participate in class, and complete homework assignments.
